Hello! I am Laura August and I have established L’OR in 2022. My artworks are about the pleasures and enjoyments of life inspired by a longing and love for the Mediterranean. It is about the blessing of being in good company, celebrating, wining and dining. It is about resting, relieving and recharging. It is about enjoying the warmth, charme and beauty of the Mediterranean.

In my work, I love experimenting with form, colour, texture and pattern – whereby my bold compositions are not least influenced by my background as Communication Designer (State Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart) and my architecture studies (Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences).
